Remote Senior Fullstack Software Engineer

Summary

Scalable Capital is seeking a Data Integration & Management Engineer to join their growing Data Department. This role involves bringing data products into production, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and working with cutting-edge technologies in an agile team of backend and fullstack engineers.

Requirements

• University degree in computer science, engineering, natural science, mathematics or similar field
• Strong programming skills in Java/Kotlin – SpringBoot (BE) and Javascript, React, Node (FE), Python is a plus
• Experience in developing code and building infrastructure on AWS
• Experience in complex software projects with end-to-end ownership building Microservices

Responsibilities

• Work as an engineer in an agile team of backend and fullstack engineers
• Work closely together with data scientists and data engineers as well as other engineering teams
• Bring data products to production and reveal real business value
• Work on software solutions for ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements around data for the Engineering Department (as, e.g., automated data protection required data deletions)

Preferred Qualifications

• Interest in data projects and data-driven business applications
• Experience with Google Tag Manager and Consent Management is a plus
• Motivation to implement regulatory obligations arising, e.g., from data protection law
