Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related field
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification
• Minimum of 5 years of geotechnical engineering experience, with a focus on industrial
• Proficiency in geotechnical software such as PLAXIS, GeoStudio, or similar tools
• Strong analytical skills with experience in fieldwork, laboratory testing, and data interpretation
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities

Responsibilities

• Provide recommendations and technical reviews of soil reports
• Assist with job preparation to finalize reports (stamping not required)
• Offer consultation services for field monitoring
• Address clarifications and deviations of the soil report concerning plans and specifications
• Conduct material testing and inspection reviews, including reports and results analysis
• Provide field troubleshooting for compaction issues, moisture-related problems and compression strength challenges

Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with local geotechnical conditions and regulations is an asset
