Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in an Email, Lifecycle, Growth Marketing, or Demand Generation role
- Deep understanding of email marketing platforms (Marketo) and partnering with Marketing Operations teams
- Data-driven and detail-oriented mindset to create engaging copy and achieve pipeline targets
- Deep knowledge of architecting and optimizing email nurture campaigns
- Collaborative mindset to cultivate partnerships with an ecosystem of stakeholders and enabling them to achieve their goals with email
- Passionate about email and the unique reach and capabilities of the medium to articulate a story and engage an audience
- Curiosity and experience in the cloud, developer, or security space
Responsibilities
- Own and manage a centralized global email calendar to ensure alignment across marketing, product, and sales teams
- Build and scale nurture programs tailored to the buyer journey—educating, engaging, and converting leads into pipeline for our different product lines
- Ensure consistency in tone, voice, and brand across all email communications, from product updates to demand gen campaigns
- Craft compelling copy and implement a content strategy that resonates across personas and lifecycle stages
- Own audience segmentation strategy to drive growth and engagement across key personas, accounts, and lifecycle stages
- Optimize email performance through A/B testing, experimentation, and analysis
- Define and track success metrics to ensure email programs are aligned to pipeline and revenue goals
- Partner cross-functionally with Product Marketing, Field Marketing, RevOps, and Sales to execute integrated, high-impact email programs
- Continuously improve deliverability, engagement, and ROI through email best practices and lifecycle innovation
- Provide visibility into program performance through regular reporting, roadmap updates, and quarterly reviews with stakeholders
- Expand automated email flows across the customer journey—including AE-led outreach and post-sales motions
