Summary
Join Xebia, a global leader in digital solutions, and lead a team of Guidewire developers in Sweden. You will collaborate with stakeholders, define solution architecture, and be hands-on with Guidewire development, configuration, and integration. Responsibilities include overseeing CI/CD pipelines and driving architectural decisions. This role requires 5+ years of Guidewire PolicyCenter and BillingCenter experience, deep knowledge of the Guidewire Integration Framework, and proven leadership in agile teams. Relocation to Sweden is required after 6 months. Guidewire certifications and experience with ClaimCenter are preferred.
Requirements
- Willingness to relocate to Sweden and join the client on‑site after 6 months
- 5+ years of hands‑on experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter and BillingCenter
- Deep knowledge of Guidewire Integration Framework (GOSU, Web Services, Messaging)
- 3+ years working in GOSU
- Proven track record leading Guidewire implementations or upgrades
- Strong expertise in ACE (Advanced Configuration Engineering)
- Practical understanding of configuration vs customization trade‑offs
- Experience with DevOps and CI/CD tools tailored for Guidewire
- Demonstrated leadership in agile delivery teams
- English proficiency at B2–C1 level
- Work from EU and a work permit to work from EU are required
Responsibilities
- Leading and mentoring a team of Guidewire developers working on PolicyCenter (PC) and BillingCenter (BC)
- Collaborating closely with stakeholders and clients to define solution architecture and technical direction
- Hands‑on with Guidewire development, configuration, integration, and customization
- Responsible for overseeing CI/CD pipelines, DevOps processes, and deployment strategies for Guidewire applications
- Driving architectural decisions, balancing configuration vs customization trade‑offs
Preferred Qualifications
- Guidewire certification in PC and/or BC
- Experience with ClaimCenter
- Familiarity with data migration and archival strategies in Guidewire
- Practical experience in Java development
