Join One Medical's Senior Health Virtual Services team as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Associate! This 100% remote, full-time role (minimum 32 hours) focuses on providing virtual clinical care to senior patients. Responsibilities include telehealth visits, supporting in-clinic PCPs with clinical tasks, and collaborating with a virtual team. You'll need a required state license (GA) and at least two years of experience in outpatient primary care or urgent care. Preferred qualifications include additional state licenses and Spanish fluency. Requirements
- Required state license GA
- In the past 5 years, practiced as an physician associate/assistant (PA) or family nurse practitioner (FNP) for at least: 2 years in an outpatient primary care setting seeing patients of all ages (with evidence of experience working with a senior health population as a component of your practice) OR 2 years in urgent care or emergency medicine setting seeing patients of all ages (0+)
- Ability to work weekday and weekend shifts (alternating weekends required)
Responsibilities
- Treating patients via telehealth visits, including telephonic triage calls and asynchronous patient messaging in partnership with centralized virtual RN team
- Work as an extension of in clinic PCPs through task support focusing on high value/high impact clinical tasks - medication refills, interpretation and reporting of diagnostic results such as labs or imaging, consult note review
- Ongoing connection with PCPs across offices
- Continuous learning during weekly Clinical Rounds and through other modalities
- Ongoing collaboration with both virtual and in-office teammates via daily huddles
- Care coordination with daytime virtual and office care teams, across both commercially insured and value-based senior health populations
- Utilization of your specific clinical training and opportunities to give exceptional care to patients virtually
Preferred Qualifications
- Preferred state licenses: AZ, CO, NC, MA, TX, WA
- Preference given to candidates with multiple licenses above at time of application
- Additional state licenses will need to be obtained upon hire
- Spanish speaking strongly preferred
- Excellent clinical and communication skills
- Ability to work and function in a dynamic environment that has some ambiguity
