Senior Information Security Analyst

Summary

Join ServiceNow's Security Organization and contribute to delivering world-class security solutions. You will respond to customer security inquiries, improve processes, maintain secure configurations of ServiceNow instances, and participate in on-call rotations. This role involves collaborating with internal teams on critical security issues and assisting with the deployment and configuration of security solutions. The position requires a strong security background, experience with ServiceNow and various security tools, and the ability to explain complex issues clearly. Requirements

• Pass a ServiceNow background screening, USFedPASS (US Federal Personnel Authorization Screening Standards). This includes a credit check, criminal/misdemeanor check and taking a drug test. Any employment is contingent upon passing the screening
• Be a US citizen, US naturalized citizen or US Permanent Resident, holding a green card
• 4+ years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 3+ years of ServiceNow platform experience
• Automation knowledge (Python, bash scripting) and experience hardening SaaS platforms
• Background working with data logging applications (e.g. Splunk)
• Knowledge of vulnerability scanning tools (Qualys, Nessus)
• Knowledge of BurpSuite
• Knowledge of OWASP Top 10 Vulnerabilities
• A defensive security mindset
• A customer first mindset
• Ability to explain complex issues to executives and customers

Responsibilities

• Respond to customers security questions and issues
• Come up with ways to do things faster, better and more effectively
• Work with teams to maintain up-to-date baselines for the secure configuration of ServiceNow instances
• Participate as an escalation contact in the On-Call rotation, to ensure that Security Operations can respond to priority incidents
• Assist with the deployment, integration and initial configuration of new security solutions or enhancements to existing security solutions
• Working with customers to explain appropriate security behavior and configuration
• Work in a collaborative environment with internal teams on critical Security Issues

Preferred Qualifications

• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
• ServiceNow advanced configuration knowledge (ACL, Business Rules, etc)
• GSEC, GCIH, CEH, GCIA or CISSP certifications
