Summary

Join Unbounce, a leading landing page and conversion optimization platform, as a Senior Infrastructure Developer. You will build, optimize, maintain, and scale critical backend infrastructure in our AWS Cloud to support Data, AI, and ML initiatives, and customer-facing web applications. This senior technical role focuses on improving infrastructure and building tools to support development and data teams. Become a subject matter expert, enhancing cost-efficiency and performance, and improving infra-related development practices. The position requires extensive AWS experience and expertise in infrastructure as code, containers, and database management. Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Devops or SRE roles with a focus on tooling, automation, & cloud infrastructure
  • 4+ years of experience with AWS, or equivalent, focusing on RDS, EKS, IAM, Lambda, S3, EC2, Elasticache, & Cloudfront
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code tooling (ideally Terraform or OpenTofu)
  • Experience with Containers, Docker, Kubernetes
  • Experience with Database configurations, performance tuning
  • Experience with monitoring tools (Datadog, Cloudwatch, etc)
  • Strong Linux server administration skills
  • Teamwork & Collaboration
  • Problem Analysis & Attention to Detail

Responsibilities

  • Primarily operating as an AWS Cloud Infrastructure engineer supporting the provisioning, maintenance, testing, optimization, and security of the infrastructure stack leveraged by software, data, and machine learning engineers at Unbounce
  • Advocating for engineering best practices and principles as part of driving data product solutions into production
  • Leading large-scale infrastructure projects to enable the development of new features and improve the performance or security of existing infrastructure
  • Work with our development teams to understand their needs and service them by building supporting tools that provide the greatest impact towards delivering customer value
  • Being a part of our on-call rotation with incident management for Infrastructure issues
  • Writing and maintaining documentation of existing systems, as well as proposals for new designs and solutions

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with large-scale AWS cost-optimization projects
  • Experience with AWS data-specific solutions including SageMaker, Redshift, & MSK
