Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of working experience as an iOS developer
  • Functional and automation testing, writing specifications and documentation
  • Knowledge of distributed version control systems, like Git
  • Good knowledge of software design patterns, data structures, and algorithms
  • Knowledge and understanding of architectural patterns like Viper, MVVM, TCA
  • Willingness to work flexibly, in an interdisciplinary and international environment, depending on the current project status
  • Strong analytical skills and process-oriented work style with a structured, independent approach to work and focus on getting things done
  • Stress-resistant, even in fast-paced and busy situations
  • Fluency in English

Responsibilities

  • Implement new features for our iOS app
  • Take ownership of specific feature implementations and produce structured, easy to read and efficient code
  • Write unit tests, and functional tests and verify your code against defined test cases
  • Writing specifications for software for medical device
  • Participate in code review and ensure timely delivery of high-quality code
  • Discuss possible implementations with other team members and create and maintain the overall design and architecture of our app
  • Estimate development efforts and do sprint planning together with the team
  • Keep track of your work and make sure to follow Aktiia's development process
  • Plan releases together with the team and support the release of our app on the App Store

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Bluetooth communication and camera integration
  • Understanding software development lifecycles in a regulated industry with experience in medical device software development
  • French and other European languages
