Senior iOS Engineer

Summary

Join Get Well as a Senior iOS Engineer to develop and build the next generation of mobile applications. You will design, build, and develop iOS mobile applications, unit-test code, provide documentation, fix bugs, and improve application performance. The role requires using Objective-C and Swift, Jira and Git, and Cocoa. You will also prototype new ideas, evaluate new technologies, and work remotely with an international team. Daily participation in SCRUM standups and supervising software developers are also part of the responsibilities. The position is based in Bethesda, MD or remote.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science. Foreign degree is acceptable
• Two years experience as Senior iOS Engineer or as Deputy Head of IT
• Work experience in: Supervising the work of software developers
• Development of iOS mobile applications
• Jira and Git software, and
• Cocoa, GCD, Core Location and UIKit
• Adhere to all organizational information security policies and protect all sensitive information including but not limited to ePHI and PHI in accordance with organizational policy and Federal, State, and local regulations

Responsibilities

• Design, build and develop iOS mobile applications for iOS platform
• Unit-test code for robustness, usability and reliability
• Provide documentation and diagrams of technical concepts, fix bugs and improve application performance
• Use Objective-C and Swift languages, Jira and Git software, and Cocoa to program iOS mobile platform
• Use Core Location, UIKit, GCD (Grand Central Dispatch)
• Prototype new ideas and technologies
• Evaluate and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
• Work remotely with a team of international developers
• Participate in daily SCRUM standups
• Supervise work of software developers
