Senior iOS Engineer

Summary

The job is for an experienced iOS Developer at Sword Health, a fast-growing startup focused on pain management solutions. The role involves designing and building software applications for iOS, ensuring performance, quality, and responsiveness, participating in team projects, troubleshooting and debugging, improving user experience, training other developers, contributing to application architecture, and working in a dynamic environment.

Requirements

• More than 4 years of experience in developing and shipping iOS Applications
• Ownership and accountability of work, being able to write and speak clearly, sharing relevant information to project and gain self-awareness
• Able to execute defined and prioritized tasks within the scope of team with specific guidance from manager/TL
• Focus on contributing to solve problems with defined solutions, receiving others perspectives and feedback, besides effectively collaborating to get work done
• Able to understand and effectively participate in the core processes of the team (planning, on-call rotations, bug triage, metrics review, etc), with high standard excellence of work
• Early learning on the Interview and Recruitment Process
• Communicates with product team to define requirements and improve specifications
• Proficiency in iOS, and it’s life cycle
• Proficiency in Swift
• Experience with iOS frameworks such as Core Data, Core Animation, etc
• Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications
• Frameworks/SDK integration in mobile apps
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools

Responsibilities

• Design and Build software applications for iOS
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
• Participate in an exciting and motivating project
• Troubleshoot and debug to optimize performance
• Design interfaces to improve user experience
• Actively participate in the training and building skills of other developers
