Senior iSeries Cobol Developer

Summary

The job is for a Senior iSeries Cobol Developer on a 6-month contract, which can be done remotely. The candidate should have at least seven years of software development experience, knowledge of one or both Cobol or RPG, experience in leading development in an Agile environment, experience with current SOA architecture techniques, experience in designing multi-tier business logic-based systems, and experience building stored procedures in applications. A Bachelor's Degree is required.

Requirements

• At least seven years of software development experience
• Experience in the design and architecture of front-end applications
• Experience in leading development in an Agile environment
• Essential knowledge of one of both the following: Cobol or RPG
• Experience in the development of applications with current SOA architecture techniques
• Experience in designing multi-tier business logic-based systems
• Experience building stored procedures in applications
• Bachelor’s Degree
