Summary

Aechelon Technology is seeking a Senior IT Automation and Systems Administrator to help ensure the smooth operation of their technological infrastructure. The role requires expertise in scripting languages, server technologies, and hybrid environments, with a preference for Veritas backup systems. Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain scripts using Python, PowerShell, or other scripting languages to automate routine tasks
  • Support for PowerScale clusters, including configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting
  • Assist in the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of Entra ID Sync and Exchange 2016 systems
  • Utilize Jira Automation to streamline workflows and improve productivity
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware-related issues
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage and support hybrid environments
  • Respond promptly to IT-related issues and requests, diagnose and resolve technical problems, and provide timely support to end-users
  • Maintain existing Active Directory Certificate Authority server and assist with troubleshooting certificate installation
  • Install and configure software licenses servers such as FLEXlm, maintain existing license servers, coordinate deployment of new licenses
  • Keep Intel Endpoint Management server up to date and assist with registering and removing Intel vPro enabled endpoints

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a help desk or similar technology support environment
  • Experience with issue tracking systems such as JIRA, etc
  • Experience with version control systems such as Perforce, Git, etc
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, with a focus on Excel and Word
  • Proficiency with Linux shell
