Senior IT Engineer

Requirements

• Extensive experience with managing hardware, software, and related technologies
• Knowledge of IT vendor management
• Solid knowledge of best practices in IT, Systems, and SaaS Operations
• Strong documentation and user training skills
• Proven ability to manage projects and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for driving technical projects
• Independence, and the ability to own and execute tasks and workflows
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Experience managing Windows and Intune

Responsibilities

• Strategize for, set up, and maintain integrations and workflows that automate our core business processes and build operational capacity for the business (Okta and Okta Workflows)
• Evaluate and administer applications, software, and cloud platforms in partnership with business leads
• Provide technical assistance, support, and troubleshooting in a professional and timely manner via a ticketing system for the IT helpdesk
• Document processes both for the IT department and company at large
• Creating purchase orders for IT equipment (computers, computer/home office accessories, software tools) and managing purchase process with an external hardware vendor
• Ensuring timely onboarding and offboarding of employees, working with HR and the manager to ensure employees have everything they need to perform their job responsibilities

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in IT in an engineering or senior support role (or equivalent)
• ITIL or CompTIA certification(s)
• Experience with Okta in general and implementing Okta Workflows in particular
• Startup experience or experience at a SaaS company
• Experience in GCP, AWS, and Azure

Benefits

Estimated salary range: $125,000 - $165,000
