Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in IT security engineering or a related field
• Strong knowledge of network security, cloud security (AWS, Azure), and endpoint protection
• Hands-on experience with security tools such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, and vulnerability management systems
• Proficiency in scripting or programming languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell)
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks and security standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST)

Responsibilities

• Design and implement secure system and network solutions to protect enterprise assets
• Proactively identify, analyze, and mitigate security threats and vulnerabilities
• Lead investigations and respond to security incidents, ensuring quick resolution and minimal impact on operations
• Evaluate, recommend, and implement new security technologies and tools to improve the organization's security stance
• Ensure adherence to relevant industry standards and regulations (e.g., PCI DSS, GDPR, SOX)
• Collaborate with IT, application development, and business teams to integrate security best practices into systems and processes
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and team members on security practices

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or GIAC
• Experience in a retail or multi-location business environment
• Knowledge of DevSecOps practices and integrating security into CI/CD pipelines
