Requirements

  • 3+ years of work experience in a similar position
  • Extensive experience in IT workplace engineering, systems administration, or a similar role at a senior level
  • Deep expertise in managing and optimizing IT enterprise platforms such as: Endpoints (e.g. Windows and MacOS); Collaboration and communication (e.g. Google Workspace, Slack, Microsoft 365); User provisioning and access management (e.g. Okta, Entra ID); Project and task management (e.g. Atlassian Jira, Confluence); Device management (e.g. Intune, Jamf, Addigy); ITSM applications such as Atlassian ServiceDesk; Other related IT enterprise platforms will also be considered a plus
  • Strong scripting and automation skills (e.g., PowerShell, Python, JavaScript or Bash) for IT workflow improvements and system integrations
  • Needed knowledge level of IT Networking for improving and implementing IT infrastructure solutions in accordance with security best practices
  • Hands-on experience with identity and access management solutions (e.g., Okta, Google SSO, Entra ID) and security best practices
  • Proven ability to engage in and execute large organization-wide IT infrastructure projects
  • Proven ability to take the lead role managing internal team and cross-team initiatives
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex IT challenges and implement effective solutions
  • Experience with IT service management (ITSM) tools and methodologies
  • Ability to work independently while mentoring and guiding junior team members

Responsibilities

  • Manage, optimize and implement IT enterprise platforms and infrastructure in accordance with the newest technologies and industry best practices
  • Work with business stakeholders and proactively gather requirements, perform analysis, and implement solutions
  • Develop and maintain scripts and applications to automate IT processes and improve efficiency
  • Lead and/or participate in organization-wide IT infrastructure projects and initiatives, such as migrations, system implementations, and process improvements, ensuring smooth execution and minimal disruption
  • Establish and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance IT infrastructure, security, and operational efficiency
  • Provide expert-level troubleshooting and technical support, resolving complex IT issues and improving system reliability
  • Define and enforce IT best practices, policies, and security standards across the organization
  • Document technical solutions, best practices, and workflows to enhance knowledge sharing within the team
  • Work closely with the Security and Compliance teams to ensure regulatory and security requirements are met
  • Mentor junior IT team members, sharing knowledge and fostering a culture of continuous learning

Preferred Qualifications

IT certifications (e.g. CompTIA A+, Okta Certified Administrator, Microsoft Certified: Enterprise Administrator, Google Workspace Administrator, ITIL) will be considered a plus
