Senior Java Developer

Summary

The job description is for a Freelance Senior Java Developer position at a technology company in Poland (remote). Requirements

• 7+ years of Java experience (Spring)
• Knowledge of Angular
• Familiarity with software development best practices (RUP, XP, Agile)
• Experience with SOA, Web Services, SOAP, JMS, Servlets
• Proficiency with UML
• Experience with SQL and ORM frameworks
• Familiarity with Apache Camel, JBoss Fuse, ESB, OSGi
• Very good spoken and written English (at least B2)
• Communicative spoken and written Polish

Responsibilities

• Implementing new functionalities
• Fixing bugs in existing functionalities
• Addressing security vulnerabilities based on reported issues
• Ensuring code quality by performing code reviews for team members
• Deploying changes to development and testing environments (the process is automated)
• Collaborating with testers and release managers
• Being a team player – we help each other, support each other in all tasks, and share knowledge
• Participating in stand-up meetings, etc
