Senior Java Engineer

Summary

The job involves maintaining and developing code for real-time advertisement servers at a US-based multinational streaming device company. The employee will work remotely if living in LATAM or can join the office. They will ensure server reliability, write Java code, monitor and automate server processes, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and keep up with industry trends.

Requirements

• Proficient in using Spring and Spring Boot frameworks
• Experience with AWS and/or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience in setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
• Experience in developing and maintaining low latency backend services

Responsibilities

• Ensure the reliability and performance of servers that deliver real-time advertisements
• Write and maintain Java code for the real time ad servers
• Monitor, update, and automate server processes
• Work with cross-functional teams to understand server requirements and deliver solutions

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in AdTech is a plus
• Strong SQL skills with the ability to write complex queries, ideally using Big Data frameworks
