Senior Java Engineer

Requirements

• Be a Vietnamese citizen or hold a valid work visa for Vietnam
• Work full-time, requiring 40 hours of work per week
• Possess strong logical thinking, be skilled at analyzing and solving problems, and have good communication abilities
• Demonstrate strong English proficiency and communicate fluently with team members and stakeholders
• Be proficient in Java with extensive experience in back-end and API development
• Be familiar with the Java ecosystem with a deep understanding of commonly used frameworks and libraries
• Be skilled in business modeling, with strong abilities in unit testing and integration testing
• Have solid knowledge of data structures, programming skills, engineering capabilities, and clean coding practices
• Be familiar with Docker, AWS S3, RDS, and related frameworks and components
• Be proficient in common Git commands and workflows, particularly those related to GitHub pull requests
• Have fluent English for communication with international teams

Responsibilities

• Work an average of 8 hours a day, allowing for flexibility and autonomy
• Allocate time for daily communication and prompt response with the team, ensuring efficient task completion
• Complete a written task within 7 days and submit it via a GitHub pull request, demonstrating best coding practices

Preferred Qualifications

• Have prior experience with remote work
• Be available to work during the US Eastern Time Zone (9 pm and 5 am Vietnam Time) or at least a 5-hour overlap between 9 pm and 2 am Vietnam Time
