Senior Java Engineer

Requirements

• Be proficient in Java with extensive experience in back-end and API development
• Possess strong logical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Demonstrate strong English proficiency for communication with international teams
• Have solid knowledge of data structures, programming skills, and clean coding practices
• Be familiar with Docker, AWS S3, RDS, and related frameworks and components
• Be proficient in common Git commands and workflows, particularly those related to GitHub pull requests
• Be a Vietnamese citizen or hold a valid work visa for Vietnam
• Work an average of 8 hours a day, with flexibility, but allocate time for daily communication and prompt responses
• Work full-time (40 hours per week)
• Have fluent English communication skills

Responsibilities

• Develop back-end and APIs using Java
• Work with Java ecosystem, frameworks, and libraries
• Create business models and conduct unit and integration testing
• Utilize data structures, programming skills, and clean coding practices
• Work with Docker, AWS S3, RDS, and related frameworks and components
• Use Git commands and workflows, especially GitHub pull requests

Preferred Qualifications

• Have prior experience with remote work
• Be available to work during the US Eastern Time Zone (9 pm and 5 am Vietnam Time) or at least a 5-hour overlap between 9 pm and 2 am Vietnam Time
