Senior Java Software Engineer

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with Java
• Good knowledge of Java 17, Java ecosystem frameworks like Spring, Spring Boot, Spring Data, associated patterns (e.g. SOLID principles, Design Patterns), API driven development
• Working experience with relational data base and ORM (JPA / Hibernate)
• Experience with CI/CD and deployment platforms (Kubernetes, OpenShift)
• Strong problem-solving skills and analytical thinking
• Effective communication skills with a good command of English and German

• Drive Continuous Improvement : Identify areas of improvement in existing programs and subsequent refactoring
• Agile Team Collaboration : Engage in direct communication with German-speaking clients and teams, ensuring smooth project delivery and efficient coordination in a multilingual environment
• Nurture knowledge: Expand your skills by learning Angular while working on the integration of Angular Web Components for a headless Content Management System (CMS)

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in Web application frameworks like Angular, RxJS using JavaScript/Typescript and some of its most common libraries/frameworks and Web standards, CSS and HTML best practices
