Summary

Capital.com is seeking a Senior Java Software Engineer to join their Trading Core team. The role requires deep understanding of trading platforms, financial products proficiency, experience in designing high-performance systems, and knowledge about technologies that allow for platform scaling, security measures, and potential threats. Technical skills required include advanced experience with Java and Spring, database mastery, asynchronous programming, JVM optimization, network expertise, operational proficiency, cloud platforms, and at least 5 years of experience in developing core trading services.

Requirements

• Deep knowledge of the functioning of trading platforms, including various transaction types, trading algorithms, and online trading specifics
• Familiarity with products like CFDs, stocks, and cryptocurrencies
• Experience in designing, building, and optimizing high-performance systems
• Knowledge about technologies that allow for platform scaling to handle sudden influxes of user activities or transactions
• Comprehensive knowledge of potential threats and security measures for transactional data
• At least 5 years of experience developing core trading services, implementing real-time financial trading services, risk-based calculation algorithms or other low-latency, high-availability services
