Requirements

  • Exceptional Communication and Presentation Skills: Ability to clearly articulate ideas and strategies to diverse stakeholders
  • Handling Experience: Adaptability to manage gradle-to-grave claims across varying coverages, including Bodility Injury (BI), Credit Hire, and Property damage
  • Legal and Claims Expertise: Deep knowledge and hands-on experience managing litigation in a legal exec, solicitor, or large loss specialist capacity
  • Liability Assessment Experience: Proven ability to assess liability in complex large loss motor claims and make defensible, strategic decisions
  • Attention to Detail & Task Management: Proven ability to independently manage tasks, stay structured, and provide support to the team
  • Customer-Focused Problem Solving: Commitment to delivering tailored solutions aligned with customer outcomes and expectations
  • Proactive Decision-Making: Comfortable taking a forward-thinking, assertive approach rather than waiting to react—driving strong claim outcomes and reducing leakage

Responsibilities

  • Handle gradle-to-grave claims across all coverages and damages
  • Assess liability and determine strategy for claims over £50k
  • Step into an existing portfolio and integrate into the current environment
  • Support and guide others, while managing your own workload
  • Deliver solutions that meet customer outcomes and expectations
  • Make risk-balanced decisions: pay, reserve, or escalate as appropriate
