Senior Machine Learning Educator

Join Blue River Technology's Machine Learning Ambassador (MLA) program as a Course Developer and Mentor. You will develop and deliver engaging course content on machine learning to John Deere employees, catering to various skill levels. You will guide teams to project completion, providing ML expertise and connecting them with resources. This role requires 5+ years of hands-on ML experience, 5+ years of experience developing and presenting technical course content, and a bachelor's degree in a relevant technology field. Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Machine Learning and/or related fields such as Data Science and Artificial Intelligence
• 5+ years of experience developing and presenting technical course content
• Skills in developing shared code examples, e.g., through the use of Jupyter notebooks
• Strong ability to present complex concepts in a simple way to diverse stakeholders
• A bachelor’s degree in a relevant technology field (Electrical, mechanical, or computer science)
• Proven leadership in content development and tailoring materials to the target audience
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work in a distributed team environment with global team members
• Comfortable working in a dynamic, agile environment and the ability to roll up your sleeves and lead by example when needed

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver course content to the Machine Learning Ambassador program
• Instruct existing courses in the MLA curriculum
• Create content that supports a wide range of backgrounds and knowledge levels, from novices to more advanced technical practitioners
• Develop new courses that incorporate traditional and state-of-the-art ML techniques into the curriculum and enhance the John Deere employee development experience
• Curate, distribute, and track educational materials
• Assisting Project Delivery across a wide variety of fields with occasional poorly defined scope
• Guide teams to project completion by assisting with timeline creation, providing ML expertise, and connecting team members to the right resources
• Explore new areas for educating John Deere employees
• Be aware of new areas of opportunity both internally (new challenges to explore within Deere) and externally (awareness of new tools and technology developments)
• Identify novel ways to support Deere stakeholders in their Machine Learning journey

• US annual base salary range for this position is $154,000 - $275,000
