Senior Machine Learning Scientist

Summary

Join GoDaddy's Domain Search team as a Senior Scientist and contribute to building world-class software solutions. You will design, build, and maintain foundational systems and services for GoDaddy’s search/ML/GenAI platform, focusing on performance, scalability, and reliability. This role involves developing and optimizing advanced machine learning models to enhance customer experience, mining datasets to improve search relevance, designing experiments to test new product ideas, and understanding user search patterns to personalize recommendations. Requirements

• 4+ years of industrial experience with a strong background in both deep learning and software development
• Experience with machine learning, statistics, and NLP. Experience with large data sets
• Experience with a machine learning platform such as pytorch
• Experience with a programming language of your choice: Python, Java, etc
• Familiarity with large-scale data analytics in Spark

Responsibilities

• Work with the latest deep learning and search technologies to develop and optimize advanced machine learning models to improve our customer’s experience
• Be self-driven, understand the data we have, and provide data driven insights to all of our challenges
• Mine datasets to develop features and models to improve search relevance and ranking algorithms
• Design and analyze experiments to test new product ideas
• Understand patterns and insights about what our users search for and purchase to help personalize our recommendations
