Senior Machine Learning Scientist

Summary

Join GoDaddy's Domain Search team as a Senior Scientist to develop and apply machine learning and LLM-based methods to enhance customer search experiences. You will design, build, and maintain foundational systems and services for GoDaddy’s search/ML/GenAI platform, ensuring performance, scalability, and reliability for millions of customers. This remote position involves working with the latest deep learning and search technologies to optimize machine learning models, mine datasets to improve search relevance, design experiments to test new product ideas, and understand user search patterns to personalize recommendations. The role requires a strong background in deep learning and software development, experience with machine learning platforms (like PyTorch), and familiarity with large-scale data analytics in Spark. Requirements

• 4+ years of industrial experience with a strong background in both deep learning and software development
• Experience with machine learning, statistics, and NLP. Experience with large data sets
• Experience with a machine learning platform such as pytorch
• Experience with a programming language of your choice: Python, Java, etc
• Familiarity with large-scale data analytics in Spark

Responsibilities

• Work with the latest deep learning and search technologies to develop and optimize advanced machine learning models to improve our customer’s experience
• Be self-driven, understand the data we have, and provide data driven insights to all of our challenges
• Mine datasets to develop features and models to improve search relevance and ranking algorithms
• Design and analyze experiments to test new product ideas
• Understand patterns and insights about what our users search for and purchase to help personalize our recommendations
