Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute the engagement team across the M&A lifecycle, including comprehensive financial and operational analysis
  • Strengthen client relationships and generate additional engagement opportunities through excellent quality, timely execution and strategic approach to service delivery
  • Identify and communicate critical deal issues, the strength and weakness of the business against industry benchmarks to client management that could impact the purchase price or the deal structure
  • Solve complex problems that arise throughout the M&A lifecycle
  • Challenge assumptions related to financial models
  • Identify critical post-closing matters to be addressed to ensure improvements in profitability and cash flows
  • Interact extensively with personnel of the target companies and the client
  • Review and prepare due diligence reports outlining analyses and findings
  • Assist with the finalization of opening balance sheet/ of purchase price allocations, and closing working capital calculations
  • Prepare and execute an integration plan, monitor synergy benefits and/or resolve integration issues
  • Possess a client service mentality and ensure work is delivered timely and in accordance with firm standards
  • Supervise, coach, and mentor all levels of staff. Conduct performance reviews and contribute to performance feedback and training
  • Develop and communicate workplace culture and code of conduct
