Join Toast, a leading restaurant platform company, as a Senior Manager in Enterprise Risk and Compliance Management. You will play a key role in maturing the company's risk and compliance program by designing and implementing new processes, updating policies and procedures, developing comprehensive reporting, and implementing risk management technology. This position requires significant experience in risk management, particularly within the technology sector. You will be responsible for ongoing risk assessments, reporting to governing bodies, and managing the risk appetite framework. Toast offers a competitive compensation and benefits package, including a base salary range of $136,000 - $218,000, plus additional cash compensation, equity, and benefits. Requirements
- Typically requires a minimum of 12 years of related experience with a Bachelorโs degree; or 8 years and a Masterโs degree; or a PhD with 5 years experience; or equivalent experience
- At least seven (7) years of experience in a risk and/or enterprise risk management role at a technology (FinTech preferred) company designing and implementing enterprise risk and compliance frameworks and programs
- Familiarity with laws and regulations related to software, payments, payroll, credit, consumer, etc
Responsibilities
- Support the maturity of key risk and compliance programs and program foundational elements
- Expand the foundational process and control inventories. Update risk taxonomy as the company continues to evolve
- Enhance the enterprise risk assessment process, including methodology and approach, to ensure scalability with growth
- Execute ongoing risk assessment exercise
- Provide ongoing risk reporting, including on the status of key risks, the effectiveness of controls and responses/mitigation, key risk indicators, exceptions, etc
- Enhance enterprise incident management framework and reporting
- Manage the risk reporting and escalation to governing bodies, such as risk and compliance committees and Board committees.ย Responsible for coordination of agenda, preparing speakers, and development of committee materials
- Own, manage, and mature the risk appetite framework for the organization and associated lines of business
- Implement technology and tools, such as a GRC, to support the effective and efficient execution of risk management processes, including automation of processes, where possible
