Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business/finance, computer science, data science, engineering, statistics, applied mathematics, or related field
- 7+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or data engineering; proficient with CRM and BI reporting tools, including Salesforce and Tableau
- Comfortable getting your hands dirty, whether itβs data preparation, digging deep into spreadsheet analysis, or presenting to our leadership team - no task is too menial or βabove your gradeβ
- Strong business acumen and analysis skills, with the ability to translate operational and financial data into actionable insights and recommendations
- Systems thinker - understands the broader implications of (seemingly) small decisions, always thinking about the longer-term and secondary/tertiary impacts
- Solid understanding of Sales, Marketing, Product, and Finance metrics for B2B enterprise SaaS/subscription software companies
- Self-aware, transparent, professional, and open to feedback
- Ability to function independently as well as within a team effectively and efficiently
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of our data and analytics vision, defining the BI roadmap and strategic initiatives that align with our overall business objectives
- Become a trusted partner to our key stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Product, BizOps, Finance, and executive leadership, ensuring business units have access to timely, accurate, and actionable insights for decision-making
- Ensure the effective management, integration, and governance of data across the organization, from data collection and storage to reporting and visualization
- Design, develop, and continuously optimize our KPIs reporting suite for our leadership team and the Board - strive for clarity and simplicity that enables better and faster decision-making for the business
- Support key projects and initiatives with robust and insightful ad-hoc reporting and analysis
- Seek out opportunities to automate and scale reporting assets, improve data quality, and enable greater self-service analytics and insights
- Communicate complex data findings in a clear, concise, and actionable manner to both technical and non-technical audiences
