Summary

Join Ramboll's Health Sciences team as a Senior Managing Consultant, contributing to advanced solutions in human health sciences. This role requires managing complex consulting assignments, working with multidisciplinary teams, and collaborating with agencies and organizations. You will provide technical leadership and subject matter expertise in epidemiology, leading projects, and working directly with clients and regulatory agencies. An academic degree in Epidemiology or a related discipline is required.

Requirements

  • An academic degree in Epidemiology, or related discipline
  • 10+ years of relevant experience including project and people management , familiarity with regulatory risk assessments of chemicals and non-infectious agents , interaction with regulatory agencies (e.g., USEPA)
  • Ability to manage diverse teams as well as external client and regulatory agency relationships
  • Orientation toward quantitative methods and knowledge of modern causal inference methods
  • Possesses leadership capabilities and has strong written and oral communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Leading and managing projects to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget by managing competing priorities, anticipating obstacles, and adjusting plans as needed
  • Working directly with clients and regulatory agency relations
  • Providing subject matter expertise in epidemiology and its application to human health risk assessment and systematic reviews of scientific evidence
  • Demonstrating thought leadership, through activities such as presenting and publishing scientific findings, testifying at administrative and/or court hearings, and participating in local, national, and international scientific and/or trade group meetings
  • Maintaining a high degree of autonomy while collaborating effectively with colleagues across disciplines and business units
  • Guiding staff in their careers and promoting staff development

Preferred Qualifications
