Summary

Join Blend, a leading AI services provider, as a Senior Marketing Manager and play a key role in strengthening client relationships within the U.S. Client Marketing team. This 6-month consulting role (with potential extension) is remote but requires working across multiple US time zones. You will lead marketing services for a financial services client, driving key initiatives for business growth. Requirements

  • 10-15 years of work experience in a marketing capacity within the financial services or payments industry
  • Authority in multiple marketing disciplines, including brand, product, direct response, research, content, social, influencer, sponsorship, and events
  • Deep payments knowledge and understanding of market dynamics in the areas of consumer/ small business; prepaid, debit, credit, and commercial payments
  • Accomplished at building trusted relationships with cross-functional team members, key stakeholders, business leaders and clients
  • Ability to structure, manage and coordinate complex projects across multiple internal/external stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate and influence in a highly matrixed organization
  • Organized, with a natural inclination for both strategic and tactical deliverables
  • Aptitude to think creatively, identifying new and innovative ways of organizing resources and prioritizing work leading to tangible business results
  • Ability to work with limited direction, usually within a complex and ambiguous environment to drive fact-based recommendations, solutions, and decisions
  • Leadership experience working in agency and/or consulting roles involving the development and delivery of comprehensive, multi-channel marketing programs
  • Strong executive presence; excellent written and verbal communication skills; experience engaging with Executive and C-level suite audiences

Responsibilities

  • Lead all marketing services for one of the organization’s financial services clients
  • Drive the strategy and execution of key marketing initiatives to drive client business growth, such as lifecycle marketing engagements, best practices, go-to-market recommendations, sponsorship marketing, events, advisory services, social/digital marketing, etc
  • Lead marketing-related project scoping and requirements while aligning with sales and the client
  • Apply data-driven approach to marketing recommendations leveraging company data and industry research tools to capture/communicate marketing best practices and customer insights and present to clients
  • Work cross-functionally to develop and implement marketing projects that leverage the best of company resources and expertise (e.g., with Sales, Consulting & Analytics, Product, Marketing, Legal, Internal Creative Teams, etc.)
  • Oversee end-to-end delivery of marketing projects including escalating any deliverables, updating timelines, and communicating changes to stakeholders with limited supervisory oversight
  • Manage ad hoc requests from key stakeholders, e.g., clients, senior leadership, etc
  • Manage project timelines and budget
  • Track and manage program results
