Requirements
- 10-15 years of work experience in a marketing capacity within the financial services or payments industry
- Authority in multiple marketing disciplines, including brand, product, direct response, research, content, social, influencer, sponsorship, and events
- Deep payments knowledge and understanding of market dynamics in the areas of consumer/ small business; prepaid, debit, credit, and commercial payments
- Accomplished at building trusted relationships with cross-functional team members, key stakeholders, business leaders and clients
- Ability to structure, manage and coordinate complex projects across multiple internal/external stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate and influence in a highly matrixed organization
- Organized, with a natural inclination for both strategic and tactical deliverables
- Aptitude to think creatively, identifying new and innovative ways of organizing resources and prioritizing work leading to tangible business results
- Ability to work with limited direction, usually within a complex and ambiguous environment to drive fact-based recommendations, solutions, and decisions
- Leadership experience working in agency and/or consulting roles involving the development and delivery of comprehensive, multi-channel marketing programs
- Strong executive presence; excellent written and verbal communication skills; experience engaging with Executive and C-level suite audiences
Responsibilities
- Lead all marketing services for one of the organization’s financial services clients
- Drive the strategy and execution of key marketing initiatives to drive client business growth, such as lifecycle marketing engagements, best practices, go-to-market recommendations, sponsorship marketing, events, advisory services, social/digital marketing, etc
- Lead marketing-related project scoping and requirements while aligning with sales and the client
- Apply data-driven approach to marketing recommendations leveraging company data and industry research tools to capture/communicate marketing best practices and customer insights and present to clients
- Work cross-functionally to develop and implement marketing projects that leverage the best of company resources and expertise (e.g., with Sales, Consulting & Analytics, Product, Marketing, Legal, Internal Creative Teams, etc.)
- Oversee end-to-end delivery of marketing projects including escalating any deliverables, updating timelines, and communicating changes to stakeholders with limited supervisory oversight
- Manage ad hoc requests from key stakeholders, e.g., clients, senior leadership, etc
- Manage project timelines and budget
- Track and manage program results
