Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in a Marketing Operations role, preferably in a B2B SaaS environment
- Strong expertise with marketing automation platforms like HubSpot or Marketo, including setup, management, and optimization
- Experience implementing and optimizing campaign workflows, and lifecycle tracking to support demand generation efforts
- Excellent communication and project management skills to work effectively across marketing, sales, and operations teams
- Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and marketing analytics to track performance and drive data-driven decisions
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues, improve marketing processes, and collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Familiarity with data governance and compliance best practices (e.g., GDPR, CCPA)
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Marketing Ops Manager to manage and optimize the marketing tech stack. This includes the integration of new tools and technologies to enhance the marketing operations function
- Provide training and support to other team members on marketing operations best practices, systems, and tools
- Lead the strategy, execution and optimization of marketing campaign operations to achieve the campaign goals
- Work to enhance segmentation in collaboration with email and campaign managers to ensure targeted and timely messaging that drives conversion
- Partner with the Sales Operations team and other Marketing Operations team members to optimize our marketing-to-sales lead handoff, including lead scoring, lead data ingestion and routing, lead source reporting etc
- Monitor all customer communications being sent through marketing tools to identify gaps in alignment and areas of opportunity
- Partner with the broader GTM team to align on campaign strategy, identify operational bottlenecks, and improve processes. Provide guidance on best practices for marketing systems, technology stack, and workflows
- Assist in creating and maintaining internal marketing documentation for processes and programs as needed
- Ensure ongoing database cleanliness by implementing and enforcing best practices for data hygiene. Regularly review and clean up marketing databases to maintain accurate, up-to-date, and high-quality contact information, improving segmentation, personalization, and overall campaign effectiveness
- Analyze marketing data and provide actionable insights to optimize campaign performance
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience building and maintaining lead scoring systems
- Experience with API integrations to connect marketing automation platforms with other tools
- Proficiency in business intelligence tools like Looker, Tableau, or similar for deeper data analysis
- Basic HTML and CSS skills for email customization
