Requirements

• Have sound quantitative research skills and working knowledge of the different types of evidence supporting market access of healthcare technologies
• Possess HEOR writing experience
• Have an MSc/MA or a PhD in HEOR/RWE/market access or closely-related field
• Have the ability and passion to translate these complex data clearly, accurately and persuasively
• Be a confident self-starter and able to work independently
• Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Have experience developing HEOR and medical publications
• Have the ability to generate materials to a high standard and quality, with minimal internal review/assistance
• Have excellent project-management and organisational skills
• Be flexible, adaptable and resourceful
• Have excellent quality control skills and a meticulous eye for detail – style/consistency, grammar, scientific accuracy, proof-reading, layout, etc
• Ensure all writing meets the client’s strategic marketing objectives, as well as being of high scientific quality/credibility
• Have a strong client-centric attitude - proven ability to work with clients on projects, ensuring they meet strategic marketing and medical needs
• Be flexible and able to manage simultaneous priorities, changing deadlines, and limited resources
• Have prior experience of working as a medical writer for a medical communications agency preferably with an HEOR background
• Have an academic background in life sciences
• Have a proactive, can-do approach

• Prepare client deliverables to a high standard, within project timelines and budget
• Translate complex data clearly, accurately and persuasively
• Synthesize technical materials into audience-friendly content in the form of publications, dossiers and slide decks
• Liaise with clients and lead the development of a wide range of communications supporting time-critical market access activities
• Focus on content development as proficiencies grow
