Senior Ml Engineer

Summary

Join Xebia, a global leader in digital solutions, as a Machine Learning Engineer. You will play a critical role in streamlining machine learning project lifecycles, designing and automating workflows, and implementing CI/CD pipelines. Collaborate with stakeholders and platform engineers, leveraging expertise in infrastructure setup, model deployment, and cloud platforms. This role requires 5+ years of Python experience, proficiency in NumPy, Pandas, and SciPy, strong SQL skills, and understanding of fundamental statistical concepts. Experience with containerization technologies and familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP are essential. A Cloud certification and knowledge of Airflow or Kedro are beneficial.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Python
• Proficiency in the NumPy, Pandas, and SciPy stack
• Strong SQL skills
• Understanding of fundamental statistical concepts (e.g., Bayes’ rule, linear regression, maximum likelihood estimation)
• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker
• Familiarity with AWS, Azure or GCP
• Comfortable using Git
• Knowledge of Docker, and Kubernetes
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Work from EU and a work permit to work from EU are required

Responsibilities

• Play a critical role in developing new algorithms and optimizing existing ones
• Add significant pieces of functionality to the application, largely based on user feedback
• Optimize ML pipelines
• Take the initiative and propose new approaches
• Design and architect machine learning workflows/machine learning lifecycle process
• Implement ML workflows / automate CI/CD pipelines
• Collaborate with Platform Engineers to set the infrastructure required to run MLOps processes efficiently

Preferred Qualifications

• Cloud (Azure, AWS, GCP) certification
• Knowledge of Airflow or, Kedro
