Senior MLOps Engineer

Summary

Join Xebia as an MLOps Engineer and streamline machine learning project lifecycles. You will design and automate workflows, implement CI/CD pipelines, ensure reproducibility, and provide reliable experiment tracking. Collaborate with stakeholders and platform engineers to set up infrastructure, automate model deployment, monitor models, and scale training. This role requires extensive technical skills in orchestration, storage, containerization, observability, SQL, programming languages, cloud platforms, and data processing. Expertise in various ML algorithms and distributed training is essential. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of Python experience and strong SQL skills, along with experience in cloud environments and DevOps practices. Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Python
• Strong SQL skills
• Hands-on experience with cloud environments (AWS / Azure / GCP)
• Experience with tools such as Spark, PyTorch, TensorFlow and MLFlow
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools, including Terraform
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Understanding of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices, as well as experience with related tools like GitHub Actions or GitLab CI
• Work from EU and a work permit to work from EU are required

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Platform Engineers to set the infrastructure required to run MLOps processes efficiently
• Implement ML workflows / automate CI/CD pipelines
• Automate model deployment and implement model monitoring
• Collaborate with Platform Engineers to implement backup and disaster recovery processes for ML workflows, especially models and experiments
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand the key challenges and inefficiencies of Machine Learning project lifecycles within the company
• Keep on top of the latest trends and advancements in data engineering and machine learning

Preferred Qualifications

• Cloud (Azure, AWS, GCP) certification is a big plus
• Familiarity with Amazon SageMaker / Azure Machine Learning / VertexAI is nice to have
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
