Senior Mobile Developer

Join Thoughtworks as a Senior Mobile Developer and collaborate with diverse teams to design and build innovative mobile software solutions for our clients. You will champion best practices, including TDD, continuous delivery, and mobile architecture patterns, while mentoring junior developers. Leverage your expertise in React Native, mobile SDKs, and UI frameworks to create high-quality, well-tested code. Contribute to the entire software development lifecycle, from ideation to deployment. Requirements

• Have advanced English skills
• Have experience using React Native mobile development language coupled with experience in UI development using mobile SDKs and UI frameworks
• Be able to skillfully write high-quality, well-tested code and be comfortable with Object-Oriented programming
• Be able to design and build solutions taking into consideration the fundamental concerns affecting mobile software such as single vendor limitations, constrained execution environment, disconnected operation, discrete release cycles, accessibility, privacy, etc
• Be comfortable with Agile methods, such as Extreme Programming (XP), Scrum and/or Kanban
• Enjoy influencing others and always advocate for technical excellence while being open to change when needed
• Have a presence in the external tech community and willingly share your expertise with others via speaking engagements, contributions to open source, blogs and more
• Be resilient in ambiguous situations and be able to approach challenges from multiple perspectives

Responsibilities

• Learn and adopt best practices like writing clean and reusable code using practices like TDD, mobile architecture patterns, design, and pair programming
• Use and advocate for continuous delivery practices to deliver high-quality software as well as value to end customers as early as possible
• Work in collaborative, value-driven teams to build innovative customer experiences for our clients
• Use your passion for mobile development to aid our clients in enabling a platform-appropriate, seamless and human-centered experience for their users
• Apply the latest technology thinking from our Technology Radar to solve client problems
• Partner with other technologists from cross-functional teams advocating and demonstrating mobile-first culture
• Oversee or take part in the entire cycle of software consulting and delivery from ideation to deployment and everything in between
• Act as a mentor for less-experienced peers through both your technical knowledge and leadership skills

Preferred Qualifications

Have working knowledge of mobile devops/pipeline tools, such as fastlane, gradle, etc
