Summary

Requirements

  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite – primarily After Effects but also Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign
  • Familiarity with After Effects plugins
  • Cinema 4D or other 3D software
  • Initial experience or exploration in AI
  • Ability to create and work with After Effects Templates
  • Familiarity with project management software
  • Experience with Figma
  • Ability to thrive in constant creativity
  • Strong visual communication skills
  • Excellent time management skills, ability to prioritize assignments and meet deadlines
  • Self-motivated, independent worker capable of executing project guidelines without continuous oversight
  • Enthusiasm for current motion graphics trends and techniques
  • Learns quickly and fosters personal commitment to high-quality work

Responsibilities

  • Design Content. As the Sr. Motion Designer, you’ll be responsible for transforming health information for patients and providers into compelling and accessible animated visuals. This includes concept exploration, asset creation, and delivery of content for publish. You’ll need out-of-the box thinking, but also be comfortable creating and working with templates. You will have the ability to identify compelling stock photography, illustrate content and have a strong eye for layout and typography that aligns with content and brand positioning
  • Collaborate and Present. You’ll brainstorm and explore new design ideas with the team, and you will have the opportunity to work with other designers throughout the production of segments. The Motion Designer will also participate in design reviews by presenting concepts or providing feedback to other designers
  • Mentorship. Leading the rest of the designers on the team by example and through formal mentoring or management. Helping elevate the overall quality of content from the team by playing to strengths and identifying any areas for improvement
  • Project Manage. You’ll be responsible for reaching project deadlines and tracking your projects from concept to completion through the company’s project management software while also helping keep others on track

Preferred Qualifications

  • Interest and skills in leadership and mentoring
  • 5+ years of experience in design
  • B.A. In Design or related field
  • Excellent understanding of typography
  • Eye for detail and visual consistency
  • Strong reel, work samples or portfolio showcasing different styles and techniques
