Senior .NET Engineer

Summary

Join the Money Transfer Retail Team at IDT Corporation as a Senior C#/.NET Software Engineer. Your main responsibility will be to contribute to the development of money transfer back-end systems and web portals. This role involves the full software development life cycle, collaboration with stakeholders, and working with various technologies. You will work on high-performing, scalable applications and services, and contribute to reducing technical debt. The position offers remote work options (B2B contractor or hybrid/remote full-time in Belarus), excellent hardware, and growth opportunities. Requirements

• Experience in the full cycle of development from implementation to prod deployment and support
• Deep knowledge and 5+ years of production experience with C# (.NET, ASP.NET , .NET Core)
• Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms
• Experience with Kubernetes
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases like Oracle, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, or similar
• Experience with Kafka
• Good level of English – B1 or higher

Responsibilities

• Participate in money transfer back-end and web portal development
• Take responsibility for the full software development life-cycle
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and be a part of the product development team
• Demonstrate your technology-agnostic positive attitude with the ability to learn and desire to implement solutions using various technologies
• Work on high-performing, mission-critical, scalable, and resilient web-based applications and services
• Drive aggressive technical debt reduction in close collaboration with developers and automation test engineers

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in building scalable and highly-available system architectures
• Experience in Docker development and deployment workflows
• Knowledge of Jenkins administration for build and deployment automation
• Experience in designing and maintaining complex systems
