Senior .NET Engineer

Join our LATAM team as a Senior .NET Engineer and work remotely from Latin America for US clients with Nearsure, a staff augmentation company that values people and culture.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ Years of experience working with .NET
• 4+ Years of experience working with Testing (Familiarity with Unit testing, Integration Test, End to End Test, Automated Test)
• 3+ Years of experience working with ASP.NET Webforms
• 2+ Years of experience working with CI/CD
• 2+ Years of experience working with SQL
• 2+ Years of experience working with Microservices
• 2+ Years of experience working with Kubernetes AND Docker
• 1+ Years of experience working with Git

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using .NET (C# or VB.Net )
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Implement Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles to ensure scalability, maintainability, and performance
• Work with relational databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, and PostgreSQL to design efficient database schemas and optimize queries
• Participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards
• Develop and maintain Web Forms based applications, as needed
• Write and execute unit tests and integration tests to ensure software quality and reliability
• Use Git for version control and collaboration with other developers
• Work in an Agile/Kanban environment, participating in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives
• Utilize Jira for tracking tasks, bugs, and project progress
