Requirements

  • Extensive experience as a .NET or .NET Core developer with C#
  • Experience with SQL Server
  • Experience with agile methodologies and test-driven development techniques
  • Strong ability to communicate and collaborate with a dispersed multicultural team
  • Knowledge of the following (or similar) frameworks
  • NHibernate (or similar persistence or ORM framework such as Microsoft Entity Framework or Dapper)
  • NUnit / XUnit (unit testing)
  • Castle Windsor (or similar dependency injection/IoC framework, such as Autofaq or Ninject)
  • Knockout, Vue.js (or similar JavaScript MVVM framework)

Responsibilities

  • End-to-end development for .NET applications (including maintenance, extension, and new feature development)
  • Identification and implementation of improvements to the existing applications
  • Debugging and testing code, particularly for new features and enhancements, but also performing root cause analysis for application issues
  • Taking initiative by recommending improvements to the development process, proactively identifying application pain points and suggesting mitigation strategies
  • Perform peer reviews of code changes
  • Maintain help documentation for new/updated features
  • Sharing knowledge and running training sessions for the support team for new features
  • Work closely with business stakeholders within an agile environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the Payroll domain
  • AWS Cloud and tooling exposure
