Senior Node.js Developer

Summary

Requirements

• Has extensive experience with Node.js
• Is familiar with at least one modern framework (like Express.js, Nest.js)
• Knows their way around both SQL and NoSQL databases
• Has experience with cloud hosting providers (e.g. AWS, Google Cloud, Digital Ocean, Heroku)
• Comfortable with the UNIX/Linux command line
• Working knowledge of creating and maintaining infrastructure using terraform
• Create and maintain CI and deployment pipelines using Github Actions
• Experience with Docker
• Is skilled in writing unit and integration tests using tools like Mocha, Chai, or Jest
• Communicates effectively in both spoken and written English
• Is available for part-time or full-time cooperation

Preferred Qualifications

• Is comfortable working within an agile, iterative environment, including estimating time and managing feedback
• Has experience with Kubernetes and/or AWS Fargate
