Senior Nodejs Fullstack

Summary

Join Encora as a Senior Nodejs Fullstack and be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable and efficient applications. Lead technical projects, mentor junior engineers, and improve software development practices to ensure robust and reliable software systems. The role is remote and based in Colombia or Costa Rica. You will architect and implement clean, efficient, and reusable code, conduct code reviews, and lead refactoring efforts. Mentoring junior developers and ensuring delivery quality are also key responsibilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field
• Extensive experience in software development with a focus on designing and building scalable applications
• Professional/ Advanced English skills
• +5 years of experience
• Front-end: React
• Back-end: Node.js
• Integration: Experience with synchronous APIs and asynchronous, event-based systems (e-commerce, SAP, internal systems)
• Code Quality: Maintainable code, strong testing practices, and active participation in code reviews
• Business Understanding: Ability to challenge and improve business workflows during analysis

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement clean, efficient, and reusable code following best practices (SOLID, DRY, etc.)
• Conduct code reviews, enforce standards, and lead refactoring efforts to improve system scalability and security
• Lead and mentor junior developers, supporting their technical growth and ensuring delivery quality
