Senior Odoo Lead Developer

Summary

Join our team as a fully remote (Philippines) or on-site (Dubai) freelance Odoo developer for a minimum of 5 months (with potential renewal). You will design, develop, and customize Odoo modules, integrate Odoo with other systems, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with various teams. This role requires a Bachelor's degree, 7+ years of Odoo development experience, and proficiency in Odoo, Python, XML, JavaScript, and PostgreSQL. Experience with eCommerce, Finance/Accounting modules, Agile/Scrum, and Odoo certification are also mandatory. Familiarity with DevOps and multi-stack development is a plus.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Minimum 7+ years of experience in Odoo development
• Proven experience in developing and maintaining Odoo modules
• Proficiency in Odoo framework and development
• Strong knowledge of Python, XML, JavaScript, and PostgreSQL
• Experience with Odoo.sh and Odoo Studio
• Proficiency in at least one additional stack such as Java, .NET, or Node.js
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Experience in eCommerce with Finance/Accounting module implementation such as Revenue Management System
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Certification in Odoo

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and customize Odoo modules to meet business requirements
• Integrate Odoo with other systems using various technologies (Java, .NET, Node.js)
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in Odoo and related systems
• Collaborate with business analysts, stakeholders, and other departments to gather and translate requirements into technical specifications
• Ensure the quality of the code through rigorous testing and code reviews
• Participate in the implementation and maintenance of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes
• Stay updated with the latest developments in Odoo and related technologies
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior developers and other team members

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in business process analysis and improvement
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
• Previous experience in multi-stack development projects involving Java, .NET, or Node.js
