Senior Penetration Tester

Summary

Join A-LIGN as an entry-level Penetration Tester and become part of a dedicated team focused on testing and improving the security of clients' systems and data across various industries. You will execute penetration tests (internal, external, wireless, web application, and social engineering), vulnerability scans, and assessments. The role requires a bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field and prior experience in penetration testing or related IT security roles. A current C|EH or similar certification is preferred but not required. Requirements

• Possess a Master’s or bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, management information systems, computer science, or a relevant discipline
• Have prior work experience in penetration testing, IT security monitoring or defense, network engineering, IT system administration, IT vulnerability management, or experience within a Security Operations Center (SOC)
• Demonstrate the ability to meet deadlines with a high degree of motivation
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Possess excellent communication skills
• Be able to work individually as well as collaboratively
• Exhibit a high degree of motivation

Responsibilities

• Execute internal, external, wireless, and web application pen tests
• Execute social engineering tests, including phishing, vishing, and physical
• Execute vulnerability scans and assessments
• Compile and write client reports

Preferred Qualifications

Hold a current C|EH or other related certification
