Senior PHP Developer

Summary

Join a global remote-first company as a Senior PHP Developer, responsible for maintaining and improving existing infrastructure, implementing new features, and ensuring code reliability.

Requirements

• More than 3 years of experience with PHP
• Strong knowledge of PHP
• Strong knowledge of PCRE (regular expressions)
• MySQL expertise and experience
• Experience with PHPUnit
• Web security background (malware analysis and cleanup)
• Strong understanding of HTML, and JavaScript
• Power-user Linux skills
• Intermediate level of English
• Version control/code management (Gerrit/Git)

Responsibilities

• Oversee the maintenance and continuous improvement of the existing infrastructure, ensuring high availability, scalability, and performance
• Implement new features to enhance system capabilities, and address technical issues by identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving bugs in a timely and efficient manner
• Ensure the reliability and quality of code through comprehensive test coverage, including unit testing
• Develop and maintain clear, detailed technical documentation that supports system architecture, codebase, workflows, and processes

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in managing popular Content Management Systems (WordPress, Joomla, Drupal, etc.)
• Experience with GoLang
