Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or relevant work experience
  • 6+ years of experience in PHP development
  • Strong experience with WordPress and Drupal development
  • Proficiency in modern Javascript, including experience with React.js and Next.js
  • Experience with headless CMS architectures
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices, including Git, CI/CD, and containerization
  • Knowledge of RESTful APIs and GraphQL
  • Understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies
  • Deep understanding of system architecture to identify potential issues and bottlenecks
  • Advanced Git knowledge including branching strategies, conflict resolution, and complex workflows
  • Solid understanding of Kubernetes deployments, Docker builds, dependency management, and containerization best practices
  • Knowledge of performance optimization techniques for web applications
  • Experience with automated testing frameworks
  • Criminal background check required

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain enterprise-grade websites using PHP, Javascript, and related technologies
  • Work on both WordPress and Drupal projects, leveraging each platform's strengths
  • Extensive experience with WordPress custom theming, plugin development, ACF, Bedrock, and WordPress best practices
  • Implement headless architectures using modern Javascript frameworks like React and Next.js
  • Utilize modern DevOps workflows, including Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Docker
  • Deploy and manage applications in containerized environments
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, project managers, and other developers
  • Contribute to technical planning and architecture decisions
  • Perform code reviews and provide guidance to junior developers
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
