Requirements

  • Recent PhD in Epidemiology (preferred)
  • OR Master's in Public Health with a focus in Epidemiology and minimum 4 years of post-graduate experience in a pharmaceutical industry setting
  • Superb scientific writing, with a track record of publications
  • Excellent organizational skills, and knows how to meet deadlines

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the design, analysis, interpretation, and reporting of more advanced observational studies; May write first drafts of research protocols, analysis plans, and reports
  • Critically review epidemiologic literature and prepare more advanced systematic literature reviews and more complicated epidemiology packages
  • Under the supervision of a Director, Epidemiology, lead epidemiology activities for one or more small, early developmental programs. Work directly with the data analysts for execution of database study protocols
  • Assist in preparing scientific abstracts, posters, and manuscripts as needed
  • With minimal review from an Associate Director or Director, produce contributions to PSURs, Pharmacovigilance activities, and Risk Management plans
  • Depending on the request, this position may generate a report independently and communicate directly with stakeholders (i.e., SABR or Clinical MDs, NPC)

Preferred Qualifications

For recent PhD graduates in Epidemiology, pharmaceutical industry experience (e.g., internships or contract work)
