Summary

Join BlaBlaCar's Design team as a Senior Product Designer to contribute to building the best experience for all markets, aligning user needs, business needs, and time-to-market delivery. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, collaborate on problem definition, data-informed design, end-to-end design, and more.

Requirements

• 7+ years of user experience design across mobile, web, and desktop applications, with strategic leadership experience
• End-to-end expertise: Ability to simplify complex user journeys into scalable, intuitive, and delightful experiences
• Design leadership: Guide the design process from concept to delivery, mentor junior designers, and elevate team design quality
• Information Architecture: Mastery in organizing and structuring information for intuitive navigation across diverse markets
• Data-driven design: Expertise in user research, A/B testing, and using data to inform and iterate on design solutions
• Content & Visual Design: Create cohesive, intuitive interfaces while adhering to brand and content guidelines
• Communication & storytelling: Effectively present ideas, influence stakeholders, and incorporate feedback

Responsibilities

• Influence the quarterly roadmap to ensure design delivers the highest value aligned with business goals
• Collaborate with the PM and research teams to define clear user problems, leveraging data and user insights to inform design decisions and continuously improve solutions
• Lead the design process from concept to QA, delivering high-fidelity prototypes and leveraging the design system for consistency and efficiency
• Act as the bridge between design, product, and engineering teams to ensure seamless collaboration and continuous feedback loops
• Apply market benchmarks and best practices to drive innovation and ensure designs are competitive
• Share expertise, mentor junior designers, and contribute to elevate the overall design skills within the team
• Regularly assess and refine designs based on performance, user feedback, and evolving market trends
