Join Remote as a Senior Product Designer and make a global impact! Requirements

• Be a very experienced IC product designer whose work history and portfolio demonstrates that they have clearly mastered the key pillars of their end-to-end craft
• Have work history that demonstrates your ability to autonomously own design for your team or feature area
• Have an impressive portfolio of work that shows how your design work consistently delivers outstanding results for both the business and for end-users
• Have work that demonstrates your experience and product design craft via simplicity, typography, interaction design, and UI design
• Have case studies that help understand your full end-to-end design process from insight gathering through to defining the customer problem, conceptual design, delivery, measurement, and optimization
• Have clear evidence that you are an effective cross-functional collaborator within your dev team who uses feedback, consensus building, and conflict resolution to drive great outcomes
• Have persuasive communication that helps you confidently build narratives around your design work to bring your team along with you - with clear, fluent written and spoken English that will help you communicate effectively with colleagues all over the world
• Show evidence that you are beginning to have a wider influence on your design team - you may mentor others and share work that has an impact on the larger design team

Responsibilities

• Develop strategy for your feature area of the product in partnership with leaders and cross-functional collaborators. Clearly understand business, user, and technical needs
• Confidently identify the right moment to do research, pick the right research methodologies and run your own research, with the support of UX research coaches. Have a firm grasp on common research methodologies
• Be a key player in vision processes and concepting where you can rapidly work through mock-ups and iterations to create excellent solutions. Create compelling vision work and breakthrough ideas
• Confidently bring high-fidelity designs to life at a high quality. Have a firm grasp on the UI skillset and confidently use type, color, layout, and illustration to excellent effect
• Create interaction design with increasing power and finesse. Easily build usable flows and prototypes to help the team make decisions. Refine your work and consider the delightful and highly efficient details that make a loveable product
• Master using the design system and be very familiar with how to use it to its best advantage. Know when to improve the design system rather than strictly following it
• Easily express highly complex flows and interactions that help those around you gain clarity. Contribute to building the information architecture of the product
• Master much stronger storytelling skills around your work that persuade others. Give and receive critique effectively to help others on the team. Use clear, transparent, and kind communication to help drive the excellence of your team
• Master the feedback cycle, using it to improve your work and know when to push back or compromise. Have an efficient, dynamic, and reliable design process that propels your team. Become proficient at working with stakeholders
• Be an exemplary team member who provides valuable peer support, crit, and feedback to others. Run and lead crit and team culture sessions. Confidently lead and facilitate workshops

Preferred Qualifications

• Have experience designing complex solutions for complete digital environments
• Have deep Fintech, HR tech, B2B, or SaaS experience
• Have experience working remotely
