Senior Product Engineer

Summary

Join Hunter as our new Senior Product Engineer and contribute to all layers of our Ruby on Rails application, the backbone of our Web app, API, and website. Requirements

• Proven experience as a Product Engineer or in a similar role, ideally in a SaaS environment
• Strong professional experience with Ruby on Rails
• Solid skills in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
• Familiarity with AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude, or similar systems, including experience integrating them, working with their APIs, or designing user-facing AI-powered features
• A passion for solving complex problems with elegant, efficient solutions
• A keen interest in staying updated on the latest trends in Web development
• An appreciation for design and user experience, with an eye for detail
• A proactive approach to taking ownership of projects, making decisions, and communicating effectively with your peers
• Experience working remotely, with comfort in asynchronous communication and minimal supervision

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve features for our Ruby on Rails Web application, across both front-end and back-end
• Write high-quality, maintainable code aligned with our internal standards
• Take ownership of your work with a high degree of autonomy, shaping future development efforts
• Collaborate with other departments to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement
