Summary

Climax Studios is seeking a creative, experienced Senior Programmer for a remote role in their Edinburgh studio. The candidate will be responsible for designing and developing key game systems, mentoring junior programmers, and collaborating with design and content teams. A degree in computer science or equivalent and at least 3 years of commercial games programming experience are required.

• Minimum of 3 years commercial games programming experience

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the design and development of key game systems
• Provide support and mentorship to junior programmers in our team
• Rapidly gain in-depth knowledge of new technology and development practices
• Develop standard methodologies and effectively communicate these to other team members and disciplines
• Bring technical expertise and experience to the challenges of game development
• Effectively profile and optimise game systems

Proven AI knowledge would be ideal
