Senior Project Manager

Requirements

• Exceptional project management skills with PMP certification beneficial
• At least 7 years of project management experience, including program management
• Experience with waterfall and other project management methodologies
• Proficiency in managing projects in TCP/IP and cloud-based networks
• Knowledge of security platforms (e.g., SIEM (Security Information and Event Management), EDR (Endpoint Detection & Response) and cloud-based networks

Responsibilities

• Direct full project lifecycle management of large-scale projects
• Provide clear communication to internal and external stakeholders on project status
• Implement project standards across projects for consistent service delivery
• Create comprehensive deployment plans and document project lessons learned
• Establish SOC monitoring and manage transitions to steady-state operations
• Lead and provide guidance to Project Managers and Project Coordinators
• Ensure strategic alignment of project goals with business objectives
• Refine our methodology based on industry best practices with continuous feedback and well-defined metrics to drive improvement
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of technology standards, industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices
• Ensure procedural issues are quickly resolved and help implement strategies and solutions to reduce the likelihood of recurrence
• Identify opportunities for innovation including assessments of risk/reward to the company

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a SOC (Security Operation Center) or MDR (Managed Detection and Response) operation
